Around 8 times per year our department will meet to discuss articles from the ophthalmic and medical literature. There are usually 3 presentations though this may go to four should time permit.
Time: Usually 5:30 or 6:00 pm
Location: Varies, select indivdual meeting for details
The meetings are emceed by the second year resident who is on the pediatric ophthalmology service. The individual articles are presented by one of the other residents and then the merits of the article and the presentation are reviewed by a sponsoring faculty member. The articles will often be available for download just before the meeting. Alternatively you may contact Audrey Forbes at 706-721-1160 or via email if you have questions or need the articles in an alternate manner. At this time we do not offer CME credit for these sessions.
